Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a methodology for developing and delivering large-scale, complex software systems. It provides a framework for organizations to adopt Agile and Lean practices at scale and helps them align their business and technology goals.

SAFe is designed to help organizations overcome the challenges of coordinating and integrating multiple Agile teams working on a large project. It includes a set of practices, roles, and artifacts that facilitate collaboration and alignment across teams and help to maintain a focus on customer value.

SAFe includes several key components, including Agile teams, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Program Increment (PI) planning, and the SAFe Lean-Agile principles. It also includes a set of roles, such as Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and System Architects, who help to facilitate collaboration and alignment across teams.

SAFe is widely used in organizations that develop large, complex software systems, such as enterprise software, financial systems, and healthcare systems. It has gained popularity in recent years as more organizations have sought to adopt Agile practices at scale.
